This cake was made to for Michele's grandfather (aka Pop-pop) and her nephew, Joey,
who share the same birthday. Trying to find a theme that is relevant to an 83 year old man
& a 10 year old boy was certainly interesting! We can up with the idea of an underwater
theme since both love the beach and the ocean!
It was amazing getting to create all of the sealife!
Each little creature was lovingly handmade from marshmellow fondant.
The shells were brushed lightly with gold lusterdust for a little extra shimmer!

Handformed marshmellow fondant sea creatures & shells on blue tinted vanilla buttercream.
Chocolate cake filled with chooclate buttercream filling.
